My name is Luke DeLeeuw, I am 21 years old and I drive the Bodacious Sand Drag Jeep. The legacy started over 30 years ago with my Dad’s love for horsepower. He raced a 1958 Corvette named “Bodacious”. After retiring from mud racing he started a family, he knew I would be his right hand man at the track. He built a Jr car that was a replica of his sand altered. Over the years I helped him with his car then we began the Sand Drag Jeep build, a replica of his vette. My Dad passed away from a racing accident in 2012 a few weeks after finishing it. 2017 marked 5 years of his death but I still had the courage to put the helmet back on and fire it up. A champion is someone who surpasses all obstacles to achieve their goals. I set my goals this summer by competing at our home track placing 13th in overall points. We raced 15 events in the Midwest with 5 top place finishes, and participated in 5 event displays for our marketing partners. We need the help of you, champion spark plugs to ignite up our 30th anniversary tour!
