Belleville, IL

Corey Ford knows what it takes to be a champion, both on the track and off. Growing up in Belleville, Illinois in the shadows of Belle-Clair Speedway, his passion for the sport of auto racing was fueled not only for dirt track, but for all things fast.
He’s a racer, engine tuner for NHRA teams, fabricator, mechanic and professional. He lives for competition. If you ask his greatest achievement, though, he will surely tell you that it’s his family. These lessons were learned while earning both state and national wrestling championships while attending Belleville West High School; hard work, dedication, perseverance and humility. All characteristics of a champion in life.
The 84F Rocket Chassis will compete for the UMP Dirt Car National Championship and the Summer Nationals Championship scheduled to race all 35 events in 2018. Beginning in March at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee, the quest for victory begins with a very well-planned schedule focusing on new venues and obtaining data for the long mid-summer run of the Hell Tour, known for its grueling test of both man and machine.
In life, on the mat or the race track, the greatest word to describe Corey Ford is Champion.
