My name is Danielle Mocny, I’m 30 years old and a sportsman bracket racer in Florida. I started racing Jr. Dragsters when I was 8. This is a family sport for me, both my parents and husband race and our son is starting his first year in a Jr. Dragster this year. Bracket Racing is our passion, Getting behind the seat of my 86 Ford Mustang and racing the boys is the greatest thrill out the especially when you get lucky and beat some of them. Racing has brought lifelong friendships that turn into family . In 2010 I won my first ever track championship in sportsman/pro at Bradenton Motorsports Park ,This past year in 2017 I won my first ever 7.50 heads up Championship at BMP and ended the year beating my husband in the finals. If I won the Champion sponsorship I would use the money to race at more tracks with my family and be able to show my kids the places my parents showed me to grow our love for the sport.
