My name is Madison Boyd. I am 16 years old and I am from Manchester, NJ. In 2006, I started racing Quarter Midgets. My dad raced in the Modern Stock division at Wall Stadium. In the past 12 years of Quarter Midgets, I have won 207 A-main races, 6 Track Championships, and 2 Eastern Grands National Championships. In 2014, I became the first female to win the Speed King Trophy. My passion for racing is fueled by the stereotype against women in racing. Women are vastly underrated in this sport. We hear a lot of criticism based on our gender. Once the helmet goes on, there is no difference between us. We are all just racers. 2017 was a crazy year, but no one saw me give up. I showed up at the track each and every week with a fire burning in my eyes, worked very hard on my team’s cars, and gave it my all on the track. In 2018, I will be back on the dirt racing surface in a 600 Micro Sprint. I deserve to be apart of #TeamChampion because I am just a racer with a dream and the potential to make it a reality.
