My name is Scott Nottestad and I am a 46-year-old engineer from Cambridge, Wisconsin. I have been building, fabricating, and working in a garage since I was 8 years old. I started asphalt racing when I turned 18 and won 2 track championships in 3 years. During College, I took on a big challenge to build the first ever front wheel drive racecar at a local track. This was very successful as this car won multiple features and championships. The next big challenge in my garage was to build a late model stock car. This again was a huge success winning multiple championships. The next phase in my life was building a new home and starting my son racing. We built his first go-kart together and since have built multiple karts and race cars together. With my son driving on dirt and asphalt oval tracks we have captured over 130 wins and multiple track championships with only 2 DNF’s in 6 years of competition. This is one of my proudest accomplishments. I believe my work ethic, passion, dedication, desire, and solid support from Champion, I will be a reputable representative in your Search for a Champion Program in 2018.
