I have always been a Mopar fan, since before I was old enough to drive. My dad had several of the older small block Hemi Mopars back in the late 50’s and early 60’s, while I was growing up. My first new car I ordered was in March of 1968 and received it in June of 1968. It was a Red/Black, 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, 440, 4 speed. I drove it for 3 years before trading it in for a family car. I found in LA found a nice white 1968 Charger, 383, auto, but the motor had been changed to a 440, but it was a solid car. I played with it for a while and decided it wasn’t really what I wanted. I needed that 4 Speed feeling again!! In April of 2001 at the Northridge Mopar Spring Fling I found a nice 1968 Dodge Charger that was Black, 383 ci, 4V, 4 SPEED. It was pretty nice on the outside but it needed a lot of work, as ever thing else was original and tired. I have been working on it for sixteen years and now I am rebuilding the motor.
