I began racing ice oval snowmobiles in 1999 when I was 3 years old. My family lived in Northern Minnesota and we decided to enter a race that was in a neighboring town to ours. In my career I raced amateur classes that include Formula 500 and Limited 500 and had success in both classes, winning at the World Championships in 2012, 2013, and 2014 in Formula 500, and in 2014 in Limited 500. I began my pro career in 2015, winning rookie of the year and placing 8th in points. I returned in 2016 more confidence and experience, which propelled me to be one of the most competitive racers that year. I did face adversity though, as we had great runs going and would experience mechanical failures that resulted in DNFs, but still managed 6th in year end points. Early in 2017 I crashed at a race in Michigan that ended with brain bleeding, a traumatic brain injury, and broken facial bones. I spent 4 days in the hospital and 3 weeks recovering at home. We did not race the rest of 2017. My goal is to win a TLR Championship.
