My name is Jacob Nottestad and I am a 16-year-old racer from Cambridge, Wisconsin. I just completed my rookie year in the late model division at Jefferson Speedway, winning top honors. I was the youngest driver in the track’s 65-year history to win a feature and the only driver ever to win multiple features their rookie year. I got into racing because my dad was a racer and champion. My dad taught me from the start that racing takes dedication, passion, hard work, and that if you want it, you must earn it. I started racing go karts at age 10 and was able to win multiple championships on dirt and asphalt with a very limited budget. I moved up to the INEX legend car series in 2015 and was fortunate enough to be the youngest rookie feature winner at 3 different tracks. I raced the legends again in 2016, traveling to 4 different states, ultimately winning the INEX Legends Wisconsin State Championship. I believe my work ethic, passion, dedication, family support, community involvement at charitable events, and solid sponsorship support from Champion, I will be a reputable representative in your Search for a Champion Program in 2018.
