To me a champion is more than just winning; it takes a commitment to be the best at everything you do. You must remain humble with your accomplishments and gracious for all the things you are given. You must also be persistent in chasing your goals. To be a champion you must constantly work on your skills and improve your abilities to be successful. A champion is someone who has no limits or settling points and just keeps going. I work on being a champion every day.

Hi my name is Zachary Telford and I’m a 12 year old who lives in Middleton, Idaho. I go to Middleton Middle School where I am a high honor roll student. I have been racing for nearly 2 years with 67 starts, 52 podiums, and 31 victories in my career. This year I'll be in the second season of the Jr. Late Models in Madera, California. The series is televised on MAVTV and features drivers ages 10-16. It is the only series of its kind in the world! I also will be one of the youngest drivers in the INEX Legends in Meridian, Idaho. I also race in various kart races throughout the Northwest and California. Besides racing I play tennis and the piano and will be trying out for middle school basketball and football.

I would like to thank Champion for giving me the opportunity to compete in the Search for a Champion contest. I would love to be a part of the Champion family.
