Blake Brown-Striving to be a CHAMPION

On The Track, Dirt

First, let me thank you for taking the time to consider me in the Champion sponsorship event. I am Blake Brown. I am 17 years old and driver of the #99 open-wheel modified. I reside in Corbin, Kentucky.

I made my first trip to a race track when I was three days old. After she was discharged from the hospital, my mom and I stopped by the local asphalt track to watch my dad hot lap.

Since those early days, I have been going to tracks throughout the southeast as both a fan and crew-hand for my dad - Robbie. Dad was a multiple-time track champion in several divisions.

In 2009, I began racing in mini cup cars. With the help of a volunteer crew of friends and family, I was able to become a champion in that class.

I moved to modifieds in 2014 and just completed my third full season racing at dirt tracks in central and southeastern Kentucky and Tennessee. This season our team raced 17 times. I was named track champion at Richmond Raceway, picked up 8 wins, finished in the top three 12 times and top five 14 times. I was fast qualifier 10 nights out and I'm the current track record holder at Richmond.

In addition to my success behind the wheel, I'm a 4.0 student at Whitley County High School and a varsity starter in basketball.

Champion is a winning company with longstanding success and respect in the automotive industry. I believe I would be a great asset to the Champion team. The sponsorship would allow me to race at more tracks in more areas and would allow me to become a better driver while promoting the Champion name. I want to continue on my Championship path with Champion by my side.
