Philip Thompson, A true CHAMPION living the dream!

Champions outwork the competition, even when no one is watching. Champions never give up, even when the odds are stacked against them. Champions earn that title through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. My name is Philip Thompson, and I am a CHAMPION.

I am 28-year-old Dirt Late Model driver. I grew up wrenching on family racecars, until I earned my chance to get behind the wheel of a classic racecar in 2006. Since then, I accumulated 46 feature wins and a track championship in that division. In 2016, my dream of racing a Dirt Late Model finally became reality. Our small, family-owned team acquired a crate late model and competed on a small regional level throughout the 2016 season. With four feature wins and several top five finishes, we proved to be competitive among some of the best crate late model drivers in the area. Building from this great rookie season, our team looks to conquer the goal of running a national crate late model touring series in 2017.

A partnership with Champion will ignite our opportunities to pursue and achieve our upcoming goal. This opportunity would help my race team take the next step in Dirt Late Model racing and compete on a regional and national level. Subsequently, my team and I will go above and beyond to promote the Champion brand. I would make a great ambassador for the brand and lifestyle of Team Champion, as I know exactly what it takes to live life as a CHAMPION!
